Their Story
Kate met with Situ and her mother 16 months before her August wedding, which allowed our team to get to know the bride and her family, ensuring the utmost level of personalization and care for the big event. The bride had an assured vision for an understated yet elegant celebration, held on the grounds of her family home. The garden, originally landscaped by Frederick Olmstead, proved a beautiful albeit challenging canvas on which to construct this celebration. Soon, the whole family was involved in one way or another, and the father of the bride took pride in his role as "Guardian of the Garden." Planning the tenting at an outdoor wedding is one of Kate’s specialties, and she always seems to find creative ways to ensure a naturalistic flow to the event.
Kate and Chef Robb (from our Occasional Catering Company) assisted Situ and Daniel in curating a lovely and personalized selection of food, cocktails, and mocktails for the wedding.
