Under a splendid blue sky in May, Rozenn and Alex celebrated their marriage on the banks of a rushing river at an historic mill in the New York Botanical Gardens. The bride, half French and half English, brought an unmistakable European style to the proceedings. Inspired by the rose garden in full bloom, she selected a vibrant color palette with accents of azure, signaling a tone of spirituality, universality, creativity, tranquility and stability.
Forever within the top ten flowers present in wedding ceremonies, the rose symbolizes the privededge of love, but also the passion, friendship and respect-all fundemental ingredients for a happy marriage. Within this context, the rose elevated every detail elegantly, emphasized by the hanging foliage of the surrounding trees in the ceremony and by the tasteful abundance of candles casting a glow on the tabletops and mise en place. After a delicious dinner, slices of wedding cake, champagne toasts, and much laughter and lightheartedness, a lively band got the party moving! The photographer made expert use of the night sky and the tasteful illumination of the party, while the guests continued to dance beneath the stars late into the night.
